Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical, medical, and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Drs. Eugene D'Amico, Michael D'Amico, and Fadi Kosa manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, jaw, and facial regions.
Drs. Eugene D'Amico, Michael D'Amico, and Fadi Kosa practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from facial reconstruction and corrective jaw surgery to dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. They are trained to diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Dr. Eugene M. D’Amico III, DDS, FACS
Dr. D’Amico has had extensive training in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery. This includes orthognathic surgery (surgical orthodontics), temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery, placement of the new dental implants based on the Swedish principles for patients who are missing teeth, cosmetic, and laser surgery.

Dr. Michael D. D’Amico, DDS
Dr. Michael D’Amico joined the practice in 2017. He received his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and his Doctorate from the University of Maryland. Following, dental school Dr. D’Amico completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Christiana Hospital. Dr. D’Amico became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2019. He has received extensive training in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, but his interests include dental implants and facial reconstruction. Dr. D’Amico is a Delaware native and treats patients at both the Newark and Middletown locations.

Dr. Fadi N. Kosa, DMD
Dr. Kosa was raised just north of Delaware in the greater Philadelphia suburbs. He graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with an undergraduate degree in biological sciences, and later received his doctorate with the same honors from the Temple University Dental School. After graduating, he completed an extensive residency program at Christiana Care. His surgical training included the full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Kosa is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He’s also a member of the American Dental Association, and both the Mid-Atlantic and Delaware Societies of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
