Fadi N. Kosa, DMD
Meet Dr. Kosa | Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Newark, DE
Dr. Kosa was raised just north of Delaware in the greater Philadelphia suburbs. He completed his undergraduate education at Temple University, graduating magna cum laude in biological sciences. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the Temple University Dental School graduating magna cum laude. During this time, Dr. Kosa was selected to be a part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society (OKU) and was the recipient of numerous awards, including the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ Award and the International College of Dentists Leadership Award.
Upon completion of his doctorate, he was accepted into the Christiana Care Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in Delaware. His surgical training encompassed the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery including dentoalveolar procedures, dental implants/grafting, facial trauma, TMJ, head/neck pathology, and correction of dentofacial deformities. As a chief resident, Dr. Kosa had the opportunity to travel overseas, providing surgical care to the under-served populations of Haiti and Honduras.
Dr. Kosa is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and maintains surgical staff appointments within the Christiana Care Health System. He is also a member of:
- the American Dental Association (ADA),
- Mid-Atlantic Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (MASOMS), and
- the Delaware Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Outside of his career interests, Dr. Kosa enjoys spending time with family, recreational sports, and traveling abroad.
